The Design Guild Idea Sessions: The Art of Gathering
At The Design Guild, we believe that good thinking happens in conversation. Design rarely happens in isolation, and neither does learning. The most meaningful insights often emerge when people step outside their day-to-day work and explore ideas together.
To create space for that kind of reflection, we’re launching The Design Guild Idea Sessions.
These quarterly gatherings are designed to explore emerging ideas and revisit the foundational principles that shape the fields of communication design and community engagement. Each session begins with a short reading and an open conversation. The goal isn’t to study a book—it’s to think together.
Reading is intentionally minimal. You’re welcome to read the full book if you’d like, but it’s not required. Each session focuses on a few selected passages so anyone can join the conversation, even if they haven’t completed the reading.
Guild members, clients, friends, and fellow curious thinkers are all welcome. If you know someone who would enjoy the conversation, feel free to pass the invitation along to them.
